The airline SAS is postponing its annual general meeting to April 10th from March 5th, according to a press release.
The nomination committee, chaired by Carl Rosén, is said to have had a more complex task in finding a new chairman of the board than previously expected.
The committee is in discussions with a number of candidates, but they ”need more time to confirm their availability to take on such a wide-ranging role as SAS SAS +1.94%”.
A summons is expected to be published around March 7th, SAS writes without mentioning whether they believe they will be able to present a chairman then.
SAS's current chairman, the Dane Fritz Schur, has, according to what SAS announced on 15 January, declined re-election. He has been chairman since 2008 and a board member since 2001.
