The list consists of non-European airlines deemed to not meet high enough safety standards, and airlines from countries that do not meet safety requirements.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, during the update at the end of last year, Mustique Airways from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Urga from Ukraine were removed from the list, as security had been improved.<\/p>\n<p>This brings the number of companies on the list to 178.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All airlines from the following countries are banned from flying in the EU:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Afghanistan<\/p>\n<p>Angola (an exempted company)<\/p>\n<p>Republic of the Congo<\/p>\n<p>Democratic Republic of the Congo<\/p>\n<p>Djibouti<\/p>\n<p>Equatorial Guinea<\/p>\n<p>Eritrea<\/p>\n<p>Gabon (two exceptions),<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia (seven exceptions)<\/p>\n<p>Kyrgyzstan<\/p>\n<p>Liberia<\/p>\n<p>Nepal<\/p>\n<p>Sao Tome and Principe<\/p>\n<p>Sierra Leone<\/p>\n<p>Sudan<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Airlines banned from flying within the EU:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Avior Airlines (Venezuela)<\/p>\n<p>Iran Aseman Airlines (Iran)<\/p>\n<p>Iraqi Airways (Iraq)<\/p>\n<p>Blue Wing Airlines (Suriname)<\/p>\n<p>Med-View Airlines (Nigeria)<\/p>\n<p>Air Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Airlines that are allowed to operate in the EU, but with specific restrictions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A<em>frihet and Nouvelle Air Affaire SN2AG (Gabon)<\/p>\n<p>Air Koryo (North Korea)<\/p>\n<p>Air Service Comnew (Comoros)<\/p>\n<p>Iran Air (Iran)<\/p>\n<p>TAAG Angola Airlines (Angola)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Source: di.se<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Listan \u00f6ver flygbolag som \u00e4r f\u00f6rbjudna att trafikera EU:s medlemsl\u00e4nder har uppdaterats.
