Canadian Brookfield, one of the owners of the buildings&#039; original developers, is also said to be interested in more assets in HNA&#039;s property portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>This is welcome news for HNA. The company is struggling with serious liquidity problems and plans to sell assets worth around $16 billion in the first half of the year. The company originally started as an airline before transforming into a conglomerate through acquisitions in various sectors.
