The Diner Awards are the diners\u2019 awards, as all the winners are selected based on the reviews and ratings left by diners on the Bookatable website. That is precisely what makes the competition unique and so incredibly appreciated by both restaurants and diners, says \u00c5sa Murphy, Managing Director at Bookatable by Michelin.<\/p>\n<p>There was a sense of anticipation in the air as Bookatable revealed which restaurants had become the nation\u2019s favourites among diners, and the mood among the winners was jubilant.<\/p>\n<p>-Wow, this is fantastic! It feels magical to receive an award based on what our guests actually think. After all, it\u2019s for them that we run our restaurant,\u2019 says Elin Hoas, from Lilla Bjers G\u00e5rdskrog, which won in two categories: Best Organic Cuisine and Sweden\u2019s Best Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Sturehof was nominated in the category \u2018Best Restaurant in Stockholm\u2019 and was the winner in the category \u2018Best Seafood Restaurant\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>-It feels great, and at the same time rather fitting, that we\u2019ve won the award for Best Seafood Restaurant, given how far we\u2019ve come in terms of our sourcing channels for fish and shellfish. We\u2019ve worked incredibly hard to get to where we are today, buying directly from the auction in Sm\u00f6gen, and often straight from the fishing boats.
