\nNow the Swedish aviation industry has submitted its roadmap for fossil-free aviation to the government.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The future of aviation needs to be fossil-free, and the roadmap shows both a possible path forward and that the aviation industry is united in its ambition to reduce aviation's climate impact.<\/p>\n

The Swedish aviation industry today submitted its roadmap for fossil-free aviation to Minister of Enterprise and Innovation Mikael Damberg and Isabella L\u00f6vin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Climate. <\/p>\n

Within the framework of the government initiative Fossil-Free Sweden, the Swedish aviation industry, together with fuel producers and representatives from the research sector, has developed a roadmap for how aviation can contribute to the government's goal of fossil-free Sweden by 2045.<\/p>\n

The plan outlines how domestic aviation can first become fossil-free by 2030 and then international aviation \u2013 and thus all Swedish aviation \u2013 by 2045. Much remains to be done, but the roadmap shows both a possible path forward and that the aviation industry is united in the ambition to make aviation fossil-free.<\/p>\n
