\nIt's high summer in Sweden, the heat hasn't gotten to us since May, but many people still choose to travel abroad. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In June, SAS broke its all-time passenger record, and Ving has 7-8 percent more passengers than last year.
\nDuring the holiday season, many people choose to travel abroad, and the beautiful summer that is currently prevailing in the country has not stopped people from changing their environment. <\/p>\n

\u2013 Many of our travelers book their trips well in advance; in May, 85 percent of our summer bookings are already made, says Fredrik Henriksson, Head of Communications at Ving.<\/p>\n

Currently, many people are traveling, but the nice weather has been reflected in bookings.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The weather has a bit of an impact, there are a few more last-minute trips now, but at the same time there are 7-8 percent more people who have booked trips this summer compared to last year, says Henriksson.<\/p>\n

Passenger record<\/strong>
\nSAS has also noticed that more people are traveling. In June, 2.9 million travelers chose to travel, which is the airline's highest passenger number in a single month ever.<\/p>\n

\u2013 During the holiday season, many people choose to travel, we can see that it was the case in June, but the high-intensity period is still in July when leisure travel increases, says Freja Annamatz, press manager for SAS in Sweden.<\/p>\n

Tui has also not noticed any difference in the number of trips booked due to the heat.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Weather can have an impact in general, but we are satisfied with the season's bookings, most people book early to secure the summer, says Magnus H\u00fcrttenbieren, press contact at Tui.<\/p>\n

July is when we travel the most.<\/strong>
\nH\u00e9l\u00e8ne Benno can also confirm that it is in July that most people travel, but more and more people are starting to postpone their vacation.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We forget a bit in Sweden that not everyone is like us, here many travel in July, but in Europe most people travel in August. This can lead to tickets being cheaper in August, but then on the other hand it is more difficult to get a hotel, she says.<\/p>\n

\nCountries around the Mediterranean Sea such as Croatia, Spain (Malaga, Alicante, Palma), Italy and Greece.<\/p>\n

The United States is also very popular. Many people travel to big cities like New York, Miami, Boston and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
