Turistinformat\u00f6rer har med r\u00f6rliga enheter bemannat bes\u00f6ksintensiva platser, samarbeten med stadens bes\u00f6ksmottagare och InfoPoints har f\u00f6rst\u00e4rkts, och man har \u00e4ven testat ny teknologi i form av en rullande turistinformationsrobot, kallad T.I.<\/p>\n<p>T.I. \u00e4r en Robot Double 2, en rullande, digitalt uppkopplad enhet d\u00e4r bes\u00f6kare kan prata med en turistinformat\u00f6r live via en sk\u00e4rm. Roboten har under sommaren testk\u00f6rts dagligen p\u00e5 Elite Hotel Academia i centrala Uppsala och varit mycket uppskattad bland hotellets g\u00e4ster. Turistinformat\u00f6ren som styr roboten befinner sig p\u00e5 annan plats men m\u00f6ter bes\u00f6karna d\u00e4r de \u00e4r och ger personlig service och information i realtid. Via roboten har g\u00e4sterna p\u00e5 hotellet enkelt kunna st\u00e4lla sina fr\u00e5gor om Uppsala d\u00e5 de befinner sig i frukostmatsalen, lobbyn eller i v\u00e4ntan p\u00e5 incheckning. En l\u00f6sning som inte verkar ha testats f\u00f6r detta specifika anv\u00e4ndningsomr\u00e5de tidigare, och \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt att v\u00e4cka nyfikenhet f\u00f6r turistinformation hos en ny m\u00e5lgrupp.<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 V\u00e5r robot T.I. \u00e4r ett nytt s\u00e4tt att m\u00f6ta bes\u00f6kare d\u00e4r de inte f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntar sig det. Framtidens turistinformation handlar mycket om att inspirera och g\u00f6ra det enkelt att ta del av information i olika kanaler och vid olika tidpunkter. Vi tror att nyt\u00e4nkande l\u00f6sningar som innefattar ny teknologi kan komplettera de mer klassiska kanalerna f\u00f6r turistinformation.
