John Strand is 47 years old and is currently CEO of Merresor AB. He will take up the position as CEO and President of the Gr\u00f6nklittsgruppen in mid-January 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 In his previous activities, John has demonstrated the ability to profitably run and develop businesses, something that Gr\u00f6nklittsgruppen will now benefit from. His many years of experience in public procurement and government contacts are also valuable, says Jan Friedman, Chairman of the Board of Gr\u00f6nklittsgruppen.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 With John Strand as CEO, we get a leader with stated ambitions to build an even larger company in the hospitality industry, continues Jan Friedman.<\/p>\n<p>High on the agenda is the continued refinement of Orsa Gr\u00f6nklitt as a destination and developing and consolidating Svenska Campingp\u00e4rlor as the leading chain in camping.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 I am really looking forward to the opportunity to lead such an interesting and exciting group as Gr\u00f6nklittsgruppen. Together with the employees, I want to continue the work of creating a strategy for profitable growth, says John Strand.<\/p>\n<p>The Gr\u00f6nklittsgruppen owes Anders Blomquist a warm thank you for his valuable contributions and important imprint on the future.
