\nThe number of visitors to Finnish Lapland is expected to increase by 15 percent this winter compared to last season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This comes after several of the northern Finnish airports were expanded during the year for half a billion kronor and a number of new flight routes were opened to destinations in Europe.<\/p>\n

In addition, 677 charter flights are booked to visit Santa in various locations in Lapland until Christmas \u2013 89 more flights than last year.
