Fifteen industry players have been given a little extra glitz and glam after the World Ski Awards placed them on their coveted list.<\/p>\n<p>Val Thorens once again won first prize for best ski resort, and the five-star luxury hotel W Verbier in Schweiz took home the award for best ski hotel. The hotel has \u201dthe perfect balance between modern design and Swiss tradition.\u201d The hotel, which has 123 rooms and six different bars and restaurants, is just a stone\u2019s throw from the extensive lift system in Verbier.<\/p>\n<p>Copperhill Mountain Lodge has been named Sweden&#039;s best ski hotel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Swedish winner<\/strong><br \/>\nThe World Ski Awards also selects winners in the different countries and in Sweden \u00c5re topped the list of ski resorts. \u00c5re, which is one of Sweden&#039;s largest ski resorts, has 41 lifts and 90 ski slopes and there is something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or a pro on the slopes.<\/p>\n<p>The best ski hotel is Copperhill Mountain Lodge in \u00c5re with its 112 hotel rooms and suites. There is also a spa that has won the award for best in Europe, a restaurant, bar, ski rental, gym, activities and its own helipad.
