He most recently came from a position as CEO of Volvo Cars. Mattias W\u00e4ne has more than 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, where he has held leading positions in both finance and sales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHertz is in an exciting position in a changing industry. I am really looking forward to the task of continuing to develop the business together with all Hertz employees,\u201d says Mattias W\u00e4ne.<\/p>\n<p>Mattias W\u00e4ne succeeds Niklas Siljeblad, who after six years as CEO of Hertz will become Director Network, Development and Partners at Volvo Car Sweden. In addition, he will continue to be a member of the board of Hertz Sweden and chairman of the boards of Hertz Norway and Hertz Denmark, as well as a board member of Hertz Finland.
