{"id":232934,"date":"2019-01-18T06:58:55","date_gmt":"2019-01-18T05:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/?p=232934"},"modified":"2024-02-02T12:26:06","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T12:26:06","slug":"stoppage-in-train-traffic-between-gothenburg-and-stockholm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/en\/stopp-i-tagtrafiken-mellan-goteborg-och-stockholm\/","title":{"rendered":"Stop in train traffic between Gothenburg and Stockholm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>There have been major delays in train traffic between Gothenburg and Stockholm on Thursday evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A catenary fault has caused the train to take a different route and all passengers who have traveled from Alings\u00e5s have had to take a replacement bus.<\/p>\n<p>The problems started between 5:30 and 6:00 pm on Thursday evening.<br \/>\n\u2013 This is due to a suspected fault in a contact line, we have had repairmen on site for a few hours, said Therese Str\u00f6mberg at the Swedish Transport Administration&#039;s press service at around 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The error occurred between Floda and Noresund, where trains between Gothenburg and Stockholm pass.<br \/>\nDuring the evening, trains have taken a different route between Gothenburg and Herrljunga, which has led to delays and longer travel times.<\/p>\n<p>Those traveling from Alings\u00e5s needed to take a replacement bus.<br \/>\nTwo commuter trains were stopped on the route. One train was evacuated earlier in the evening, while the other had passengers remaining on the train from 5:30 p.m. to around 10:15 p.m.<br \/>\n\u2013 They were evacuated by bus, says Lena Johansson at V\u00e4sttrafik&#039;s press service.<br \/>\nAt 10:35 p.m. the problem was solved and train traffic on the route resumed, the Swedish Transport Administration said.<\/p>\n<p>Source: aftonbladet.se<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Det har varit stora f\u00f6rseningar i t\u00e5gtrafiken mellan G\u00f6teborg och Stockholm under torsdagskv\u00e4llen.
