However, the 2019 wage increases are 3.6 percent, slightly above the mark. The agreement also contains clauses regarding working conditions, especially regarding the pilots&#039; ability to plan based on scheduling, which the unions have pushed for in addition to wage increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAS CEO takes care<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>to apologize to the affected passengers. He also thanks the staff who handled the situation. SAS itself states that 360,000 passengers have been affected when a little more than 4,000 flights have been canceled since the end of last week. Regarding compensation for affected passengers, Richard Gustafson says that SAS follows applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He does not deny that the conflict has cost SAS, both financially and in the form of lost reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201d&quot;Of course, this has cost money and it has also eroded the trust capital of our customers.
