A Supreme Court ruling just over a year ago has made it more difficult for Swedes to claim compensation for delayed or cancelled flights. Now, a claim submitted within two months of the end of the trip is considered to have been made in a timely manner. In Denmark, Norway and Finland, the deadline is three years, Airhelp points out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SAS has itself announced that it will not accept any compensation under the EC 261 regulation, as it considers the strike to be an extraordinary circumstance. This is wrong, according to Airhelp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
