Both Boeing and the FAA have since been heavily criticized for their work on safety certifications of the hidden autopilot system, which is suspected of being behind the pilots&#039; failure to straighten the plane&#039;s nose after a sensor on the fuselage was damaged and began providing the system with incorrect data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ali Bahrami agreed in his speech that the FAA &quot;is under heavy pressure&quot; but assured that the Max 8 will not be given permission to enter service until the authority finds that the model is safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dThere is no timetable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regardless of when the US green light comes, global relief for the model will likely take longer.
