The number of bookings at the Swedish Tourist Association&#039;s mountain resorts has increased by ten percent this year compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201d&quot;We call it the Svemester trend. Above all, we notice it in people&#039;s social channels where they proudly say they are staying in Sweden and #svemester has spread quickly where people are telling us about their favorites,&quot; says Jenny Engstr\u00f6m, communications manager at the Swedish Tourist Association (STF), to the TV channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, it is expected that between 8,000 and 10,000 people will attempt to climb Kebnekaise&#039;s peak this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With more tourists also come more inexperienced hikers and more accidents.
