The SAS strike between April and May affected air traffic at all of Swedavia&#039;s airports, Swedavia writes in its interim report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Swedavia, which operates the airports Arlanda and Landvetter, among other things, predicts continued growing demand for air travel via Swedavia&#039;s airports. With some downward adjustment, the forecast lands at an average of 1.6 percent per year until 2050, writes Swedavia&#039;s CEO Jonas Abrahamsson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company&#039;s CEO also communicated the sustainability goal of having zero fossil emissions from its own operations by 2020. This goal applies to all ten of Swedavia&#039;s airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company presented an increase in both sales and operating profit for the half-year, compared to the previous period. The increase in sales to SEK 3,072 million (2,913) is stated to be attributable to increased airport charges as a result of \u201dcapacity-increasing investments\u201d.
