The order is one of Airbus&#039; largest in history, and comes at a time when rival Boeing is grappling with problems surrounding its rival Max model after two accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purchase makes Indigo the largest owner of the A320 Neo in the world after an order described as crucial for a newly emerging Indian aviation market. The country&#039;s commercial aviation market is currently the fastest growing in the world, according to Bloomberg, and Indigo&#039;s market share has grown rapidly, accounting for about half of the total number of domestic flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Airbus shares traded up about 2 percent in generally negative European stock market trading on Tuesday.
