Turkish low-cost airline Sunexpress is purchasing ten more Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. The order is said to be worth $1.2 billion, equivalent to approximately SEK 12 billion. Sunexpress has previously placed an order for 32 737 Max 8 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is Boeing's second order for the aircraft model since the fatal crash in Ethiopia in March that led to the plane being grounded. In June, IAG, which owns British Airways, signed a letter of intent to buy 200 Boeing 737 Max planes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest assessment from Boeing is that the 737 Max plane will be able to fly in commercial traffic in January 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
