The Icelandic airline announced this after finalizing its flight schedule for 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company has a total capacity of 5.1 million seats and forecasts that the number of passengers next year will amount to 4.2 million.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The focus for next year is on increasing the number of passengers to and from Iceland. So far this year, the company has transported over 1.6 million passengers in the first ten months of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To achieve this, the frequency of flights to Europe will increase by 2 percent, to destinations such as Copenhagen, Helsinki, Berlin, Zurich, Madrid and Milan. The routes to Paris, Frankfurt and Hamburg will instead be reduced. A new trip to Europe will be announced in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, capacity to North America will decrease by 11 percent from 2019.
