The Departments of Transport and Business are investigating the possibilities of offering emergency funding to the struggling airline, sources close to Flybe tell Skynews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was in March last year that a consortium consisting of Virgin Atlantic, Stobart Group and Cyrus Capital Partners purchased Flybe&#039;s operational assets, including 75 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the new company, Connect Airways, Cyrus owns 40 percent while the two other partner companies own 30 percent each.
