The crisis-stricken airline Norwegian's shares plummeted today on the Oslo Stock Exchange - down over 40 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company announced its crisis plan on Thursday - a plan that is based, among other things, on the owners having to approve a radical debt restructuring in which loans are converted into shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost all of the company's aircraft are currently grounded, and around 90 percent of employees have been laid off as a result of the corona crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A decision on a possible debt restructuring will be made at an extraordinary general meeting on May 4. If it is adopted, Norwegian may be entitled to Norwegian government loan guarantees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the morning, the share price recovered slightly to a fall of just over 30 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
