In Sweden, both SAS and Ryanair have reported that they will begin flying to and from Swedish airports, both international and domestic, in June and early July, respectively. This is despite the fact that there is still an advisory against international travel until July 15. SAS has stated that the company has begun to notice a cautious increase in demand for travel, which is mainly a demand for necessary travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, voices are being raised that this is a good opportunity to reduce flying in view of the climate. And although the numbers speak for themselves, it is all the more difficult to establish a more detailed forecast of what the air will look like in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
State-owned airport company Swedavia noted a dramatic decline in air travel for the second month in a row in May \u2014 and several of their airports were almost completely devoid of commercial traffic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Swedavia expects a cautious recovery during the autumn, but also that both 2020 and 2021 will be heavily affected by the current situation, says Robert Pletzin, press manager at Swedavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
