The airline aims to reach an agreement by June 22, according to a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Lufthansa, the cuts will affect all parts of the business, from pilots (600) and cabin crew (2,600) to administration and subsidiaries (Lufthansa Technik 4,500 jobs). The losses will be greatest in the catering company, with 8,300 roles disappearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lufthansa writes that it wants to retain as many employees as possible during the Covid-19 crisis and avoid layoffs.
