On June 4, the first aircraft took off after a three-month hiatus. Today, around six flights a week depart from the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Normally we have six flights a day. That's a very big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Right now, Wizz Air and Ryan Air fly from the airport, and both go to smaller towns. For these companies, the situation is relatively good. But it is not enough to seriously revive flying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 If there were to be a line to, for example, Amsterdam, it would need both travelers from the private sector and the business sector, says Ulf Axelsson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He believes that people traveling for business will avoid traveling, and that it will therefore be difficult to get air traffic back on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 I think many companies will postpone meetings, because you can't visit each other as it is right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The most important thing for the airport is that travel starts again, but until then they need help from the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 It's very difficult right now. Almost everyone is laid off for the rest of the month, but it's still not enough by a long shot, says Ulf Axelsson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
