However, it is still a dramatic decrease compared to last summer, the airport states in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201d&quot;The good news is that the number of travelers is increasing. The bad news is that the restart is going very slowly,&quot; says Peter Krogsgaard, commercial manager at Kastrup, in the press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During July, just under 560,000 passengers passed through the terminals at the airport. This is 81.8 percent fewer than in July last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The airport expects a loss of 450\u2013750 million Danish kroner this year and recently announced that 650 employees will be laid off. However, uncertainty ahead of the autumn is great, according to Peter Krogsgaard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201d&quot;The world is so uncertain right now that we are no longer working with forecasts, but with broad scenarios.
