The flight ban was imposed on December 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planes from the UK will be allowed to land again starting January 2, the Norwegian Minister of Health announced on Friday, Reuters reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Thursday, Oslo announced that all people arriving from abroad will be tested for COVID-19, either immediately upon arrival or within 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prime Minister Erna Solberg says that a spread of the new virus mutation could lead to a complete shutdown of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Norway had the fourth lowest infection rate in Europe, 113.6 confirmed cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 inhabitants, over the past fortnight.
