It is now clear that Henrik Dahlin, CEO of MTR Commuter Trains, will take over the role as CEO of MTR in the Nordics. Henrik Dahlin will take office on March 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 I am honored and very happy to be entrusted with the responsibility of MTR&#039;s Nordic operations. During its eleven years in Sweden, MTR has gone from being a company with 2,700 employees to comprising six companies with just over 5,500 employees and is today one of Stockholm&#039;s largest private employers. I look forward to continuing to lead the group and, together with all dedicated employees, taking the next step in developing rail-based public transport and continuing to grow in the Nordic market, says Henrik Dahlin, incoming CEO of MTR Nordic AB.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We welcome Henrik Dahlin to the new role. Henrik, with his experience within the Group, both as CEO of MTR Subway and most recently as CEO of MTR Commuter Trains, has shown that he has the ability to lead an organization in a time of change. An ability that is of great importance now when the world needs a restart after a very turbulent time, says Gill Meller, Legal and European Business Director MTR Corporation Limited.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Henrik Dahlin has many years of experience from various management roles and prominent positions, including from DHL. In 2013, he was recruited to MTR Subway and in 2016 he took over the role of CEO of the same company. Since 2018, he has been CEO of MTR commuter trains. During his time with both the subway and commuter trains, Henrik Dahlin has helped lead the operations to record results in terms of punctuality, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Since MTR took over the operation of Stockholm commuter trains in 2016, systematic quality work was initiated to improve punctuality, which has resulted in punctuality going from 91 to 96 percent on an annual basis.
