Demand in large parts of the industry has decreased sharply, which has led to intensive restructuring efforts in many companies and destinations. The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth has been tasked by the government to make efforts during the year to promote the restructuring and development of the hospitality industry. Within the framework of this initiative, we have now approved 16 projects around the country.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Examples of approved projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the Stockholm Archipelago collaboration project, Visit Stockholm will develop sustainable and attractive nature experiences together with accommodation facilities on islands in the Stockholm archipelago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">G\u00e4vle Municipality will create a business development program that enables sustainable activities within nature tourism in protected nature.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visit Dalarna will help companies develop new products and create collaborations in two new areas, golf and fishing tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Region V\u00e4sterbotten will offer companies sustainable tools for transformation with a focus on product development and digital maturity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B\u00e5stad Tourism &amp; Business will help companies identify their needs for change and offer business development with a focus on sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tillvaxtverket.se\/amnesomraden\/affarsutveckling\/turism-och-besoksnaring\/artiklar\/projekt-som-hjalper-foretag-att-stalla-om.html\">Read more about all approved projects here.<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tillv\u00e4xtverket beviljar 16 miljoner kronor till 16 olika projekt som ska st\u00e4rka aff\u00e4rs- och produktutveckling i bes\u00f6ksn\u00e4ringsf\u00f6retag inom destinationer.
