The taxi industry has lost 40 percent of its turnover during the pandemic, according to a report from the Swedish Taxi Association, writes Swedish Radio Echo<\/a>. At the same time, the number of taxis decreased by ten percent, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is mainly the usual driving that has decreased significantly, such as to and from the store, the restaurant or other activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital meetings have also meant that business trips are not as frequent today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But other types of driving have increased. More common now are medical trips, Covid test deliveries, ride-hailing services and school transport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
