If the airport is closed, it means that domestic traffic to and from the airport will be moved to Arlanda Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to investigator Magnus Persson, who has had three months to work on the investigation, he has had around 50 different conversations with various stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 I have not been tasked with looking at Arlanda&#039;s long-term development. Nor have I been tasked with coming to a position on whether Bromma should be closed down or not, or with having my own forecast regarding the future of aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, he emphasizes that many airports are bleeding financially and need to change their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magnus Persson also emphasizes that it is international flights that will drive flying in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 In the long term, it is globalization that will determine what type of flights we will have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also says that the government and parliament should be able to make a decision on Bromma Airport within a year.
