The infected are both staff and passengers and now thousands of people will be tested before they disembark, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Norwegian Cruise Line ship departed New Orleans on November 28 and has made stops in Honduras and Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dThere are over 3,200 individuals on board,\u201d the US Department of Health and Human Services wrote on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who test positive should either travel home in their own vehicle or isolate themselves according to current recommendations in accommodations provided by the shipping company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The global cruise industry has been hit hard by the pandemic. In early February 2020, when little was known about the coronavirus, the Diamond Princess was quarantined after more than 700 people on board tested positive.
