Liseberg amusement park lost almost 30 percent of its regular turnover in 2021 compared to a normal year. With government support and a number of one-offs, the result for the year was SEK 491 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revenue was SEK 879 million (42.5 in 2020 and 1,229 in 2019), which is explained by a later opening and various pandemic-related restrictions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operating profit was SEK 10 million, which is described as being in line with expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profit after financial items was SEK 490.9 million (-553), with the sale of the hotel property Hotell Liseberg Heden and building rights to World of Volvo accounting for the largest part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The fact that, despite extensive limitations in the operation of the business, which led to a decline in turnover of almost 30 percent compared to a normal year, we are reporting a positive operating result is very satisfactory, says CEO Andreas Andersen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liseberg is a sector colleague of listed companies such as Tivoli, Six Flags and Disney. The Gothenburg amusement park has been hit hard by the pandemic and has cut its workforce significantly over the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
