TUI is organizing its first Sustainability Hackathon together with the school Hyper Island for this very purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><\/strong>Earlier this year, the project \u201dThe Rhodes Co-Lab\u201d was presented. The project will develop the sustainable tourism of the future. It is a collaboration between TUI, the Greek government and the local tourism industry. The parties have committed to following the UN\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals and will, among other things, reduce tourism\u2019s ecological footprint on the island with the help of new concepts for energy, water and waste management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most recently, TUI&#039;s first TUI Sustainability Hackathon was organized last week together with Hyper Island. 100 employees from all parts of TUI worked together in 12 different &quot;Hack teams&quot; to develop different solutions for their holiday products and services with the goal of reducing waste and\/or carbon dioxide.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>H\u00e5llbarhet har blivit allt viktigare f\u00f6r de flesta branscher och smarta l\u00f6sningar genom tekniska innivationer \u00e4r h\u00f6gt p\u00e5 agendad f\u00f6r att minska sitt ekologiska fotavtryck inom specifika omr\u00e5den.
