The decision is being evaluated on an ongoing basis and may be reintroduced if a new, contagious variant of the virus emerges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement should be seen against the backdrop of pressure from the travel industry, which has been hard hit by the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The requirement was tightened in November with the omicron variant.
