Four Chinese airlines will buy 292 aircraft from Airbus, according to a statement on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Airbus, the deals demonstrate \u201dpositive recovery momentum and a healthy outlook for the Chinese aviation market.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deal is said to be worth 37 billion US dollars \u2013 equivalent to 382 billion SEK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All airlines will purchase the A320 Neo model. China Eastern will purchase 100 aircraft, China Southern 96, and Air China together with its subsidiary Shenzhen Airlines will purchase 96 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Airbus, it is a strategic win over rival Boeing, whose business in China, one of the world's largest aviation markets, has taken a hit after several accidents involving the 737 Max, which was grounded in the country between 2019 and 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
