The summer flight chaos in Europe looks set to worsen further. On Wednesday, British Airways announced that the company would cancel another 10,300 flights due to staff shortages, writes Bloomberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason for the cancellations is staffing shortages. Like many other airlines, British Airways laid off a large part of its staff when the pandemic hit, which the company has not had time to address before demand picked up again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Airways parent company<\/strong> IAG, which also owns Spain's Iberia and Vueling, has fallen 33 percent on the London Stock Exchange so far this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other airlines, such as Lufthansa and struggling SAS, have also been forced to cancel thousands of flights this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
