Southern Spain, Greece and Turkey will be hit the hardest and three-quarters of the population in these countries could be at risk of water shortages in the future, according to the analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because these countries have economies that depend on agriculture and tourism, they could also be hit hard economically in the future. According to WWF, around 80 percent of the countries' GDP is generated in regions suffering from water shortages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
