{"id":239871,"date":"2022-08-31T07:03:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-31T05:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/?p=239871"},"modified":"2022-08-31T07:03:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-31T05:03:00","slug":"millions-from-the-growth-agency-will-make-the-skane-route-even-better","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/en\/miljoner-fran-tillvaxtverket-ska-gora-skaneleden-annu-battre\/","title":{"rendered":"Millions from the Swedish Growth Agency will make the Sk\u00e5neleden even better"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resources.mynewsdesk.com\/image\/upload\/ar_16:9,c_fill,dpr_auto,f_auto,g_auto,q_auto:good,w_746\/zeiu9krdbw4gfaf7nogk\" alt=\"Millions from the Swedish Growth Agency will make the Sk\u00e5neleden even better \"\/><figcaption>Photo: Region Sk\u00e5ne<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Development is giving Sk\u00e5neleden 3.6 million SEK for projects that will contribute to creating trails that are at the forefront of recreation and tourism.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Outdoor Sk\u00e5ne project will improve the Sk\u00e5neleden by clearing, setting up uniform markings and information signs that make it easier for visitors to find and navigate nature, and make it easier to find accommodation, restaurants and caf\u00e9s along the trail.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Joint project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><\/strong>Outdoor Sk\u00e5ne is a joint project that will be implemented by Region Sk\u00e5ne, the Sk\u00e5ne Landscape Foundation, the County Administrative Board and Tourism in Sk\u00e5ne.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The purpose of the project is to work together towards the vision that Sk\u00e5ne will become the leading region in trails for recreation and tourism, says Sofie Norrby, trail developer at Sk\u00e5neleden, Region Sk\u00e5ne.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Concrete efforts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Efforts will be carried out where there is a need and where there are weak links among the 1300 km Sk\u00e5neled. Specifically, this means, among other things, the construction of eight new wind shelters, five new rest areas, four new mountain bike trails and that 180 km of Sk\u00e5neleden will be upgraded through clearing, new spans\/bridges and new markings. The new investments will be maintained by the municipalities after the project is completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Long-term joints<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project will run until autumn 2024 and will contribute to implementing the necessary investments required to meet the criteria in the national framework for lowland trails. This means:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Long-term quality-assured joints.\u00a0<\/li><li>Make Sk\u00e5ne an attractive visitor destination with a focus on hospitality.\u00a0<\/li><li>Create better public health for the people of Sk\u00e5ne through easily accessible trails that will attract physical activity in nature.<\/li><li>Contribute to developing and upgrading existing and new mountain bike trails in Sk\u00e5ne.\u00a0<\/li><li>According to the press
