The company has taken traditional bike rental to new levels through strong, sustainable local and national collaborations and innovative solutions for a smooth, seamless booking process and experience.<br \/><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Johan Sundh founded RentBike in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 in 2017 and today offers complete solutions related to bike rental, bike packages with luggage transport and bike service. Johan contributes strongly to local cooperation and his bikes are deployed at a large number of tourism companies in the county, as well as at over 40 other destinations in Sweden.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He developed the booking system together with his partner Malin Rosberg Gustafsson, and this made possible, among other things, the electric bike initiative in Destination \u00c5snen in the summer of 2022. To encourage visitors to use more climate-smart transportation, 40 bikes were distributed across seven locations, so that guests could book their bike with pickup at one location and drop-off at another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 It is truly an honor to be nominated and win this award. The last five years have included hard work and it is fantastic that it is appreciated and recognized, says Johan Sundh, who sees great potential and many opportunities for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eric Wickell, CEO of Destination Sm\u00e5land, is proud of the county&#039;s representative:<br \/>\u2013<em>&nbsp;<\/em>RentBike is a role model when it comes to sustainable and strong development of the tourism industry in Kronoberg and Sweden. The company is based in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 and has several collaborations with other tourism companies in the county. In addition, they create good conditions for the development of destinations throughout southern Sweden \u2013 from G\u00e4vle down to Ystad, says Eric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year award in Kronoberg County is presented by Destination Sm\u00e5land and the winner becomes the county&#039;s nominee for the national Stora Turismpriset.
