The aim is to draw attention to the harmful effects of air traffic on the environment and climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign has some impact on traffic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were reports that an ambulance flight had been blocked. This was later denied by a spokesperson for Schiphol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Military police have arrested up to 200 people, reports&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ad.nl\/binnenland\/bijna-tweehonderd-klimaatactivisten-gearresteerd-voor-blokkeren-privejets-op-schiphol~a4ee8149\/\">A.D<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some arrests were reportedly made under heavy-handed conditions. In the evening, the police operation was still ongoing.
