Th\u00e9r\u00e8se has been a member of the company&#039;s Board of Directors since 2021 and will step down from her position today. She will take up her new role in early January.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Cedercreutz has extensive international experience from leadership positions in business development and other commercial roles. Among other things, she has held leadership positions in the technology and software sector where she led strategic transformation and digitalization projects. Most recently, she came from the role of senior advisor and management consultant at Miltton Group, one of Northern Europe&#039;s most reputable strategic communications agencies. For the past year and a half, she has also served as a board member of Scandic&#039;s board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 I am very pleased that Th\u00e9r\u00e8se has accepted the role of Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Group Management. Scandic and the hotel market have recovered quickly from the pandemic and with two record quarters behind us, it is now time to accelerate commercial development to further strengthen our leading position in the Nordics. Th\u00e9r\u00e8se&#039;s strategic height, broad operational experience in business development and establishing international brands will strengthen our commercial organization and offering. The fact that she already knows Scandic well and is committed to the company is very positive and another reason why she is an obvious choice, says Jens Mathiesen, President &amp; CEO of Scandic Hotels Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 I feel honored and excited that Jens has asked me to take on a more operational role. Scandic has a leading and well-established brand in the Nordics and has emerged from the pandemic as a stronger company with a very exciting future.
