Reuters reports this, a few hours after Beijing announced that the capital would expand testing requirements on November 24. In Beijing, parks, malls and museums have also been closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several other cities have resumed mass testing as the spread of the infection has increased, and with it, concerns about the Chinese economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The spread of the infection is feared to reduce the likelihood that the country will abandon the zero-tolerance policy that has led to lockdowns and weighed heavily on growth, something that has contributed to relief in financial markets in recent weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Shanghai, people who have been in the city for less than five days will not be allowed to enter public places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday, 28,000 new cases were reported in China, which is close to the levels from a previous outbreak period in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: Nyhetsbyr\u00e5n Direkt<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Den mest folkrika kinesiska staden, Shanghai, sk\u00e4rper regler kring inresande p\u00e5 torsdag den 24 november.
