Many exciting bars and restaurants will open at the Market Square in Terminal 5.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Among other things, Stockholm Arlanda Airport&#039;s first food hall opens its doors, where travelers can enjoy food from several restaurants offering everything from hamburgers to dishes with flavors from the Middle East.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, a large security checkpoint is being built with modern technology that will make it easier for travelers, and directly adjacent to it is the new Marknadsplatsen, which is the largest commercial investment ever at Arlanda. The Marknadsplatsen will have a Nordic design and a total commercial area of 11,000 square meters. The first of three stages will open in the summer of 2023 and the entire Marknadsplatsen will be completed around the turn of the year 2024\/2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As &quot;eating is the new shopping&quot;, more space for restaurants and bars will be available at Marknadsplatsen and will be adapted to the travelers of the future. There will be a focus on a wide range and more healthy food. In addition, a price cap will be introduced, meaning that prices may not be higher than a maximum of 10% compared to equivalent offerings &quot;in town&quot;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The traveler should easily be able to enjoy a varied food selection with flavors from different parts of the world, and the selection should satisfy all the different types of needs that travelers may have regardless of the time of day. Overall, the selection and experience should contribute to a memorable experience that you want to share with others and experience again soon, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales, at Swedavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HMSHost is a leading player in food and beverage for travelers. They already operate several restaurants and bars at Arlanda and in the summer of 2024, HMSHost will open Arlanda&#039;s first food hall at Marknadsplatsen, a place where several restaurants are brought together. There, the restaurants La Neta, Bun Meat Bun and Baba Grill will be located together with two smaller restaurant pop-ups that are constantly changed to make room for new, exciting food concepts. In addition to the restaurants, the food hall will also contain a bar with a fantastic view of the runway. In addition, HMSHost will open additional units at Marknadsplatsen. Among them are 60 Degrees \u2013 Bar and Brewery, a pub with local beers and classic pub food, and Fresh Forward, a grab&#039;n go concept where travelers can easily take their food on the go.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The development of Stockholm Arlanda Airport&#039;s food and beverage offering gave us an opportunity to expand our concepts.
