The partnership means that DSV will purchase sustainable aviation fuel for all its business trips with SAS in 2023.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most important factor in reducing emissions in the aviation sector is replacing fossil fuels (kerosene) with sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). Now SAS is accelerating its collaboration with corporate customers to increase the use of SAF. The agreement with DSV marks the start of the SAS Corporate Sustainability Program, an initiative designed to meet the demand for sustainable aviation fuel while reducing climate-impacting emissions from air travel and air cargo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201d<em>We at DSV are proud to be able to replace all fossil jet fuel with SAF for all our business trips with SAS in 2023. As one of the world&#039;s largest freight forwarders, we are aware of our responsibility to strive to reduce our indirect emissions. Since the pandemic, we have reduced our business trips by air, but as we are a global company with customers and business partners around the world, we cannot completely refrain from flying. With this initiative, we are trying to reduce the environmental impact of our business trips<\/em>\u201d&quot;, says Jens Bj\u00f8rn Andersen, CEO of DSV.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAS is a driving force in sustainable air travel and the transition to net-zero emissions aviation. The partnership between DSV and SAS is leading the way and will inspire other companies to join.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>SAS aims to reduce aviation emissions, and ultimately achieve net zero emissions, and to succeed with this ambitious plan, we need to collaborate with others. By involving our customers and collaborating with them, we can reduce CO2 emissions and enable a larger scale production of sustainable aviation fuels. We hope that the partnership between DSV and SAS will inspire other companies to join our Corporate Sustainability Program and join the journey to transform aviation for future generations.\u201d<\/em>, says Anko van der Werff, President and CEO of SAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fact box<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fly fossil-free with SAS<\/strong><br \/>The SAS Corporate Sustainability Program is designed to achieve the goal of sustainable aviation and secure the future of aviation together with partners. SAS invites all its corporate customers to join by offering a subscription at a fixed cost or reduced carbon emissions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAS makes no profit from the purchase. The amount the customer pays corresponds to the price for SAF.
