The airline Emirates turned a profit in the last financial year 2022\/23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result was 10.6 billion dirhams, equivalent to 29.7 billion SEK, compared to a loss of -3.9 billion dirhams the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revenue increased by 81 percent as the company reestablished its global network and had more passenger flights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at the entire group, which in addition to Emirates also includes the dnata business, there were new records in terms of both results and revenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result was 10.9 billion dirhams (3.8) on revenues of 119.8 billion dirhams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dWe enter 2023-24 with a strong positive outlook and expect the Group to remain profitable. We will work hard to achieve our targets while keeping a close eye on inflation, high fuel prices, and political and economic uncertainty,\u201d said CEO and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
