Sweden is starting to see rhetoric similar to that in the US and it is a dangerous development, says Fredrik Saweståhl, chairman of Stockholm Pride.

This year, the parade featured over 150 floats that highlighted the year's theme "Celebrating Diversity", highlighted LGBTQ+ policy messages, and spread glitter and joy. Stockholm Pride had a special anniversary float for this year with specially invited profiles who have been important to the development of Stockholm Pride and Swedish LGBTQ+ policy over the past 25 years. The entire festival has been carried out thanks to hundreds of volunteers and enthusiasts who give up their free time to make the Nordic region's largest pride festival possible.

<p
