The desire to travel has set Swedes in motion, and new destinations are more appealing than ever before. Recent figures from the travel agency Ticket reveal an exciting trend: a handful of places have experienced a remarkable increase in demand. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spotlight is the Greek gem Santorini, whose popularity has soared, but it's not the only destination that entices \u2013 the Spanish city of Alicante and the charming city of Gdansk have also flourished. Travellers are ready to explore new horizons and discover places that may previously have been unknown to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The desire to travel is high right now and many Swedes seem to have their sights set on some new gems. According to fresh statistics from the travel agency Ticket, some destinations have increased significantly in popularity, and topping the list is the Greek paradise island of Santorini with an astonishing increase of 288 percent. Santorini, with its irresistible sunsets and picturesque villages, has truly captured travellers' hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes Santorini so irresistible? According to Vincent Goodbrand at Ticket, it's the unique combination of crystal-clear waters, the white houses clinging to the cliffs, and the romantic atmosphere that make the island a dream destination. Furthermore, the island's restaurant scene and nightlife have attracted culture and food lovers from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is clear that travellers are seeking new and exciting experiences after a period of limitations and restrictions. Santorini offers a fantastic setting and a wonderful opportunity for relaxation, I expect this destination will continue to be high on the wish list, says Vincent Goodbrand, PR and Communications Manager at Ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swedes seem ready to explore new horizons and discover places that may not have been on their radar before. Not too long after Santorini, we find the Spanish gem Alicante and the charming city of Gdansk, which have seen impressive increases of 205 and 175 percent respectively. With its pleasant Mediterranean climate and beautiful beaches, Alicante has become a favourite among sun-seekers. Gdansk is also known for its fascinating history and architecture, including a number of impressive sights that offer visitors a memorable journey as they stroll through the picturesque narrow streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alicante is another gem that has become immensely popular with its wonderful beaches and rich history. It is exciting to see how travellers seek new adventures and experiences, and we look forward to helping them discover even more fantastic places around the world, says Vincent Goodbrand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
