On Thursday, the Swedish Armed Forces' traditional Christmas greeting from the air will begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Christmas Tree Flight is a way for the defense to show presence in places they are otherwise not visible and a good opportunity for the pilots to practice flying in formation for an extended period of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first airborne Christmas greeting of the year will arrive on Thursday, December 7th, from Blekinge Air Force Squadron, F17, which will then repeat the feat on December 11th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On December 11, Norrbotten's air fleet, F21, will also fly. The following day, it's time for the people of Skaraborg to turn their gaze to the sky and a Christmas tree signed by Skaraborg's air fleet, F7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Lucia Day, the helicopter flotilla flies. Last to fly are the students of the air combat school, who fly over M\u00e4lardalen and \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland on December 18th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
