{"id":242047,"date":"2023-12-13T06:59:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-13T05:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/?p=242047"},"modified":"2023-12-13T06:59:00","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T05:59:00","slug":"hurtigruten-receives-2-new-billion-after-refinancing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/en\/hurtigruten-far-2-nya-miljarder-efter-refinansiering\/","title":{"rendered":"Hurtigruten receives 2 new billion after refinancing"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelreport.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/FRAM-Iceberg-580x235.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-222395\" style=\"aspect-ratio:2.4705882352941178;width:839px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Forum:Fast Route<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Norwegian cruise line Hurtigruten has agreed with its lenders and shareholders on a comprehensive recapitalization transaction that includes new liquidity of EUR 185 million, equivalent to just over SEK 2 billion, according to a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lenders of the senior facilities have approved the separation of the business into the HX and Hurtigruten brands to position the group for future strategic options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shareholders have approved restructuring its \u20ac143 million loan facilities, which will be subordinated to the senior facilities and have an extended maturity to provide further support to the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transaction is supported by parties holding over 70 percent of the total commitments in the senior facilities as of December 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hurtigruten further writes that the group continues to see improvements in financial performance during the quarter, with the focus being on increasing load factors to support recovery and growth.
